ABOUT LAURA
EDUCATION
Hi. My name is Laura.
A little about me. I am a passionate makeup artist with a Bachelor's degree in Theatrical Production Design from California State University Fullerton, where I was able to learn and collaborate with other designers and directors in a theatrical setting.
Designing for Cal State Fullerton Main Stage Productions brought my work to a wider audience at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, where I was nominated for my work in "A Prayer for Owen Meany" and was a finalist for Region 8 for my work on "Hansel and Gretel the Opera".
CAREER
While working in the theatre taught me so much about collaboration, design, and education, I knew my heart was in film. After graduating College, I moved to LA in pursuit of my dream to work in the industry.
Based out of LA, I have worked the last 10 years in the Film/Television/Mixed Media industry doing beauty, editorial, and Special FX makeup.
I'm looking for any opportunity to expand my portfolio, foster an environment of creativity, and work with great people.
